Renée Feldman received her M.S. in Computer Science in 1972 from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa. She received her B.A. in Physics in 1957 from the University of California, Berkeley. She consulted for Westinghouse Research Laboratory in physics and engineering until 1984, when she became a Staff Member at Los Alamos National Laboratory, writing software for the real time profiling and display of electron beam images in the Los Alamos Free Electron Laser. After retirement, in 1994, she worked for half a year at Bruyeres le Chatel in France, writing electron beam profiling codes. In 2000 she joined IREAP at the University of Maryland.

Her interests include computer control of instrumentation and electron beam profile analysis.
