Research in the Intense Laser-Matter Interactions Laboratory includes atomic and plasma dynamics in relativistically ointense laser fields, laser-driven particle accelerators, coherent and incoherent laser-driven X-ray generation and applications, studies in highly nonperturbative nonlinear picosecond laser development, and optical, x-ray and fast particle diagnostic development.
