The Harmonic Gyrotron Laboratory is a member of the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics at the University of Maryland.
The experimental research is primarily concerned with research and development of high power, wide bandwidth millimeter-wave amplifiers.
Research conducted by the Harmonic Gyrotron Laboratory is supported by MURI 99, which is administered by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR).
